Dynamics 365 Business Central & Finance and Operations

I get struggling ERP projects back on track. And bring them home stable.

When budget, timeline and team are under pressure, I bring back clarity and calm. With the LOHAS method and more than 26 years of experience, I take Dynamics projects cleanly to completion and leave behind a system that still holds up five years from now.

The LOHAS method

Five principles for ERP projects that last

Over 30 projects taught me this: what carries an ERP project is not features. It is clarity, people and a sense of proportion. My method grew out of that.

L

Look first

See honestly where you stand. Processes, data, team and budget, without sugarcoating.

Lagebild
O

Out-of-the-box first

What Microsoft delivers, we use first. Every customization has to earn its place.

Orientierung am Standard
H

Hand in hand

Key users and departments help shape the system. People use what they helped build.

Human-centered
A

Architecture with judgment

Clean data, clear interfaces, extensions only inside the system. That keeps everything upgradeable.

Architektur mit Augenmaß
S

Stability

A go-live that holds, and operations that still run calmly after five release waves.

Sustainability

LOHAS originally stands for “Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability”. I apply that to IT as well: a healthy ERP project doesn’t burn out teams, and it doesn’t leave behind a system you have to throw away three years later.

The full lifecycle

From the first question to calm operations

I support you through all three phases of an ERP project. You can bring me in at any point, including in the middle of a running project.

01

Orientation & decision

Before money flows: clarity on whether and how Dynamics fits you.

  • Dynamics check
  • Process analysis
  • Fit-gap analysis
  • Budget and roadmap
  • Partner and product selection
02

Implementation & migration

Delivery in stages, with your key users rather than around them.

  • Business Central implementation
  • Migration from NAV to Business Central
  • Global D365 F&O rollouts
  • Data migration and go-live
  • Interfaces and integrations
  • A clean restart where legacy weighs too heavily
03

Operations & evolution

The real value starts after go-live.

  • Taking over running projects
  • Release updates and wave planning
  • Training for key users and end users
  • Documentation and training videos
  • Support directly via Microsoft Teams
  • Interim IT and project leadership
A low-risk start

Small, clear packages instead of a leap into the unknown

Each package has a fixed scope and a tangible result. Afterwards you decide, without pressure, how to continue.

ORIENTATION

For whom?
Running NAV, BC or F&O projects under pressure
Result
A clear picture with prioritized next steps
MIGRATION

Migration workshop

Clarify effort, risks and approach for your move from NAV to Business Central, reliably and up front.

For whom?
Companies on older NAV versions
Result
Migration plan with scope, effort and timeline

Business Central or Finance & Operations?

Both come from Microsoft, both are called Dynamics 365. But they solve different problems. Because I’m at home in both worlds, I recommend what fits you, not what I happen to be selling.

Technical delivery

When standard isn’t enough

Customizations are built inside the system, not around it. That keeps your ERP upgradeable. In Finance & Operations I develop in X++ myself. I deliver Business Central implementations in Germany together with my partner CIT Systems, and in Costa Rica with MBS San José.

Extensions

Custom tables, pages and processes as AL extensions. Legacy C/AL customizations are reviewed and cleanly migrated.

Interfaces

Connections to third-party systems, web shops such as Shopware or Shopify, and data imports via APIs.

Reports & documents

Invoices, delivery notes, quotes and order confirmations in your layout.

Projects

From more than 30 projects

A selection of implementations, migrations, rollouts and stabilizations. As project manager, solution architect and developer.

About me

Thomas Reinholz

In 2000 I set up my first company in Navision Financials, and in 2005 Axapta 3.0 followed. Since then I have worked with every generation of both product lines and delivered more than 30 projects: as a consultant, as a project manager and for over 20 years in IT leadership roles.

I know what a go-live at three in the morning feels like. And I know that most ERP projects don’t fail because of technology. They fail because of unclear goals, overload and a lack of leadership.

Good ERP projects need a calm mind. That’s what I bring.

Since 2020 I have been working with Business Central on two continents. At MBS San José in Costa Rica I built the Business Central practice and have supported five customer projects so far. In Germany I deliver BC projects together with CIT Systems.

Today I commute between Costa Rica and Germany. I’m on site for workshops, key project phases and go-lives, and work remotely in between. When I’m in Costa Rica, I use the time difference to your advantage: what you send in the evening is done by morning.

How I work
Directly with meNo sales layer in between. You talk to the person leading the project.
Honest, not convenientIf the standard is enough, I’ll tell you. Even if it means fewer hours for me.
Close to standardCustomize only where it pays off. What Microsoft delivers, we use first.
Leadership, not just expertiseI keep teams, partners and management aligned.
